Broxbourne has a New Chief Inspector

Broxbourne has a new Chief Inspector. Dave Rhodes, who has 25 years of policing experience with Hertfordshire Constabulary, moved into his new role on Monday, July 14th.

Dave has spent most of his career in uniform and has previously worked in the Eastern Area, he moved to Broxbourne as duty Inspector in 2000. He has also spent time in the Central policing area and at Headquarters in Welwyn Garden City in various roles including roads policing.

Chief Inspector Rhodes said: ‘I am looking forward to working with officers and staff across Broxbourne to further reduce crime levels in the area and improve the quality of service we offer our communities. As part of this proactive work to make the area even safer I will be working very closely with our partners and most importantly taking time to listen to the concerns of the communities and address them. I live locally and already have an understanding of some of these issues.

‘My aim is to provide a visible and effective policing service, that together with our partners focuses on the needs of the people of Broxbourne.’
