4C Controls on your Radar for Anti Terrorism Security Technologies
4C
Controls is a new company designed to combat growing security threats
and global terrorism through integrated security solutions.
The worldwide demand for increasing security levels means the commercial
application of technologies that were previously only available for military
use are sky rocketing. In the UK alone we know that 2,000 individuals,
200 networks and 30 active plots are currently being monitored as a threat
to national security. In the wake of these increasing security threats
and global terrorism, safety and security are now more crucial than ever
to governments, individuals, commercial and residential sectors.
4C Controls offers real-time early warning of threats and reduction
of time scales from threat-detection to termination for airports, facility
controllers, ports and oil and gas companies.
The company is a first-mover in the commercialisation of Synthetic
Aperture Radar (SAR) technology.
SAR systems are active radar systems that provide their own illumination
to operate independently of visible light so can be observed from any
location, any time of day or night, in any weather, from any distance.
This technology is mission-critical for many applications e.g.
searching for water spring in deserts, detecting oil in the sea, analysing
remote forests and measuring the height of waves in the ocean.
4C Controls also provides ground high performance radars, radio
frequency identification, real time locating systems and CCTV to enable
threats to be dealt with before becoming an issue.
4C Controls is planning to construct three Satellite Ground Stations
a dual band ground station and main user centre in the Middle East
in 2008, Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America for receiving, processing
and analysing high and medium resolution satellite images.
The company is also establishing a high resolution SAR satellite
production facilities in Verres, Italy.
4C Controls is lead by a distinguished team, with global expertise in
management, satellite technologies, security and surveillance. This includes
Chairman, Jean Robert Martin who has 46 years experience in defence security
and CTO, Riccardo Maggior, with over ten years of experience in the research
and design of radar and image processing systems and CEO.
