Expray™ Plus Kit on Show at Milipol

An easy-to-use explosive detection and identification kit will be on display at Milipol next month.

Expray™ Plus can identify suspicious objects as well as suspect persons within seconds.

The kit, produced by Mistral Security, works on conventional TNT, plastic explosives such as RDX, Semtex and improvised explosives such as Nitrate based –ANFO, Chlorate based and peroxide based- TATP.

The suspect item is wiped with a collection paper which is then sprayed. The results are a matter of seconds. This process is able to detect even minute traces of a mere microgram in size.

The kits are very easy to use and extremely cost efficient. Price per test is virtually negligible, says the company.
