Government to Back-date Allowance Increase

On 4th February police officers were given permission to launch a High Court challenge over a Government decision effectively limiting this year's pay award to 1.9 per cent. A judge said he had 'no hesitation' in finding they had an arguable case to bring an urgent application for judicial review.
